The Scented Market Candles
The Scented Market is a small, family operated business located in Ariss, Ontario.
Kristy runs her business with hardwork and pride, hand pouring each candle and tying each piece of twine with love from her kitchen.

FARM HOUSE FRESH Candle: is a balance lemon and basil. When your in the mood to clean and that fresh lemon scent makes you feel spic and span!
FARM PICKIN' Candle: that sweet summer smell of fresh strawberries with a hint of cream and vanilla.
FRESHEN UP Candle: An aroma of cucumber slices placed gently over your eyes. Topped with a note of Honey Dew.
FRUITY PIE Candle: A fresh blend of all things citrus
GRAMMA'S JAM Candle: the smell of the kitchen when gramma makes a fresh batch of blueberry jam!
HANDYMAN Candle: the smell of a fresh clean man straight out of the shower!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Candle: is the smell of a freshly baked birthday cake coming out of the oven.....not too sweet, just right!
HARVEST Candle: the smell of sweet cranberries!
HOME MADE Candle: a fresh blend of home made apple crumble coming out of the oven with a small sprinkle of cinnamon to top it off!
JUST BREATHE Candle: a fresh blend of eucalyptus and peppermint. Great for opening airways. Breathe in that fresh crisp air!
LILAC BREEZE Candle: A fresh Bouquet of lilacs sitting in a basket on your kitchen table.
MILK & HONEY Candle: smells like a sweet almond milk.
MINT COCOA Candle: have yourself a cup of minty hot cocoa and top it off with whipped cream!
OH CANADA Candle: is that aromatic smell of breakfast in the morning! That maple syrup dripping down your pancakes and the side of bacon is a breakfast of champions!
PEACHES Candle: A fresh basket of peaches picked up from the local farmers market.
PUMPKIN SPICE Candle: that smell of a freshly baked pumpkin pie coming out of the oven with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.
RASPBERRY BUSH The fresh aroma of handpicked raspberries.
SUGAR COOKIE Candle: a fresh baked cookie right out of the oven with a hint of buttery softness
SUMMER SLICES Candle: is that big fresh watermelon picked straight from the garden with a hint of fresh mint.
WARMTH is a soft smooth scent of vanilla blended with a spoonful of brown sugar.
YOU, ME & TEA A green tea inspired fresh candle.
The candles come in soft square glass mason jar with a farmhouse antique style round lid. Each candle is hand tied with a piece of twine. Each 8 oz candle has a burn time of approx. 50 hours, Each 16 oz candle has a burn time of approx. 100 hours.
SUMMER NIGHTS Candle: This candle contains Lemongrass and a note Eucalyptus to repel those bothersome summer bugs. This 16 oz candle can be used outdoors as a bug repellent, and can also be brought inside to be used as an odour eliminator and burns for 100 hours.
This candle also comes with a tight fitting lid to insure those bugs or rain water do not get in your wax
The following steps will help minimize your risk when you burn candles in your home.
- Follow the instructions printed on the label.
- Trim candle wicks to a height of 5-7 mm (1/4 inch) before lighting the candle.
- Use well ventilated candle holders that are sturdy and will not tip over. Avoid wooden or plastic holders, as these can catch fire. Use caution with glass candle holders, which can break when they get too hot.
- Never drop objects, like matches, into candles.
- Keep burning candles away from materials that can catch fire (like curtains, decorations and clothing). If your clothes catch fire, "Stop, Drop and Roll."
- Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not leave candles burning with no one in the room.
- Extinguish all candles before you go to sleep.
- Teach your children to be careful around open flames. Make sure they understand that candles are not toys, or something they can eat or drink.
